Home Visits

Home visits should only be requested for patients who are unable to attend the surgery because of the nature of their illness. Most patients including babies and small children with temperatures, can usually be brought to the surgery, for a pre-arranged appointment.

If you require a Home Visit please telephone the surgery BEFORE 10.00 a.m. If you ‘phone after 10.00 a.m. and the condition is non-urgent, please inform the receptionist that a visit the next day will be acceptable.

When requesting a Home Visit the Receptionist may ask for a few details. They have been instructed to make these enquiries so that the doctor can determine the urgency of your request in order to help you in the most appropriate way. Your co-operation would be greatly appreciated.
