When a doctor or nurse arranges for a test to be taken the patient will be informed how to obtain the result.
The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
The reception team follow protocol for giving out results, they are not clinically trained. On some occasions results are complicated and if this is the case we will offer you an appointment to discuss them in more details.
Please ensure you call for your test results , 3-5 working days after they have been taken. The receptionist will advise you if you need to discuss the results with your GP.
For results please ring the practice after 2pm on 0161 972 9999 (Option 2) Blood Results – 1 Week. N.B. Our administration staff are unable to read or interpret results. (please note Monday, we are closed 1-2pm for training)
